Ethan's 1st T-Ball game

I am a little late posting, but that's ok. Banks County makes a huge deal over there T-Ball and it was great to be involved!!! One of the great things with a small town. So, opening day which was saturday april 4, there was a mini parade! Then all teams played mini games on saturday. They had a food stand, face painting, snowcones and baseball. It was a lot of fun. Ethan really enjoyed his first game. We look forward to seeing him play some more.

Little Man at T-ball

Ethan started T-Ball thursday. Right now practices are once a week. He was inlove with the field. He loved everything about it. I was such a proud mommy of him too. To brag, right now when they played a mini game, Ethan was the only one who ran to get the ball when someone hit it off the tee. He knew to hold the ball up and then threw it straight to the couch. Ethan has great hand eye cordination. He does 100 piece puzzles now by himself. Hey, its my blog i can brag if i want! The coach was also very impressed by his throw. He kept saying, wow this one has an arm on him! Now, Ethan was wonderful at catching and throwing, but just so you don't think he is great at it all, he really really needs work when it comes to batting. Hopefully this weekend while we are in Augusta we can find Ethan a t-ball set so he can practice. He is left handed, but either side he was kinda awkward. He had a t-ball set, but the sin dried it out and it cracked. I am sure a little practice with a real bat and not a plastic bat will help him. Either way, Ethan was in his glory out there and loved ever moment. Enjoy the rest of the pics :o) Oh and out plans changed from Alabama to going down to grammys. Aunt KK could not get off, so we are heading to grammys. And she is taking us to a hibati grill. This will be the 1st time the kids have been to one. I know Ethan will love the guy cooking in front of him, hoping Brooke doesn't cry b.c it scares her. Have a great weekend! its all rain for us!

Goofy Kids Pic Entry

I thought i would try to start posting a goofy pic entry every now and then. So here are 2 from this weekend.

Here i have decided that Ethan is inventing a new technique to eating apples. Probably so he can play his monster truck wii game and eat an apple. Then again, if you have a roaster, he looks ready to go in and be baked!

Ok, so what do we say for this one. She has style, lol. She is getting down the flirting technique of twirling her hair. She also looks like she smelled something yucky!

So, Have a great monday! Come back soon for more goofy Wolfe kids pics......then again, how many serious do we ever take???

Poor Ethan :(

Ethan has had a very rough summer and fall. There was a lot of loss in his life. In June he lost is Grandpa. In july i lost my grandfather and i told Ethan about it when i had explained to him why i was crying. August we lost Tigger.....who in October came back. We had though she had died, but she hadn't. Then in August he also lost his great-grandfather...aka Pop Pops. Both his Grandpa and Pop Pops were very much in his life, and he still talks about then all the time. Shortly after his Pop Pops died, Fred his first fish died. We got a new one, but we didn't want to upset him so we said he got to big and went to swim with the the dolphines.

Yesterday Carl, his hermit crab he has had for a year and a half died. I debated telling him, but i had to clean out the cage and so on. So, i knew i would have to. Honestly, i expected to him to really care less. We don't have too much to do with the crab anymore. I was wrong. I think it hit his poor breaking point. I told him and he cried so hard and was so upset. I cried with him. I took him to where i had barried carl while he was at school, and we said a prayer and a good bye to Carl. I let Ethan know he was right under his window, keeping anything mean from coming in. It just broke my heart to see him so upset. He wants another, but i am hoping that mood passes before long. No more small pets that might die for awhile. I don't think Ethan could handle it right now. So, for now we are going to stick with our 6 cats, 1 dog and 1 fish.

a little irritated

two posts on one day! Helen slide show below:

After Ethan got out of school i had a meeting with there speech therapist and early intervention specialist. I figured i was just going to discuss Ethan's speech, but they threw a bit of a curve ball at me. We all agreed that a little speech therapy would be good for him. It won't hurt, it can only help. Then they tried to tell me he was delayed in his motor skills. Ilaughed at them. They try to tell me that about my child who rolled over at a week! Was sitting by at 3 months unsupported and was walking at 8 months. Ha Ha Ha! They told me he was not able to hop on one foot. WTF! I called Ethan over and he did it for them. Kids aren't always going to do things for people they don't know. Ethan was probably thinking, who are these crazy ladies and why do they want me to hop on one foot. They then quickly showed me a picture he drew and took it away before i could see it and said they were concerned because he could not draw. He is 4 and anyone who knows Ethan knows he is too busy to worry about drawing. He really doesn't have an interest in it. Ethan is hands on and physical. Is every 4 year old suppose to be able to draw like every other 4 year old??

Maybe i am over reacting, but i am not going to be told he has any problems in that area. I agreed with speech and that was it. Everything else he scored above average.

I guess we will have to wait and see what happens. They want to reevaluate him after thanksgiving. And if they feel he needs speech then it will start i guess in january. They are a little slow in my opinon. Oh well, just needed to get some frustration out!

An announcment!

Ha Ha Ha................Well here it is...................

Ethan is getting married!!!!!!!!

Sorry, i am laughing so hard. Ethan came home and announced this yesterday. This boy of mine is really inlove with his girlfriend at school, Georgia Ann. He has always been a little girl crazy, but no other girl matters to him but her. And he is only 4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just think, if both families stay in Banks County.........they might marry. He was even saying her name in his sleep last night.

Alex saw the love saturday at home depot for fathers day with ethan's school. He said once Ethan and Georgia Ann saw each other they held hands and did everything together. We are in trouble!

Hopefully the wedding won't happen for another 20 years, but just be ready :)

Video if Ethan singing

This is a cute little video i shot of Ethan singing the song i hear all day now! The volume is not great so i am going to type first what he sings so you can make it out! Turn volume up so you can make sure you hear it :) Oh and this is from my camera phone so it is a little fuzzy.

"3 little monkeys swining in the tree singing Mr. Alligator you can't get me (hand movements) Snapped that monkey out of the tree"
Repeats but with 2 monkeys and then 1 monkey
Last line he says which is so cute is "missed me, missed me, now you gotta kiss me (kisses hands)"

He checked out fine at the doctors. Just a viral infection they think. So he got to stay home and drive me crazy! We did have some fun decorating for fall though today. Putting some pumpkins out and a few halloween decorations. Not to much. We are going to go shopping for a few more at the dollar store soon.

All the new CBS shows air tonight so my lonely butt will be in front of the TV! Have a great night!

Sore swollen throat

This goofy pic is from yesterday at lunch!

My poor baby has his first sore throat. He is having a hard time eating. When we glanced in it today it was bright red, swollen and white spots. Guess he is off to the doctor tomorrow to get some medication. I don't think Ethan has been sick in almost 2 years. Amazing, huh?! He did not get sick once last year. His doctors mentioned it at his check-up. And for being in preschool last year too, that was amazing. I think he is a carrier. Brooklynn gets sick quite a bit.

The weekend has been pretty good. We had lunch with Thomas, Jess, and Jackson yesterday. After that i dropped alex and the kids off at home and had some MUCH NEEDED me time. Alex stays at my parents now to save on gas money and has only been coming home on his days off. We have been doing this a month or so now. It has helped us a lot in the financial department! But, i defiently needed a few hours of me time. After that we went out shopping all of us to get Alex a new Antenna for the TV. He is happy, hopefully.

After much talking, he has decided to stay with the company he is with now. We are giving the house until the end of contract date and after that we are taking it off and staying here. We have come up with a few things we want to do here. We are going to try to modernize our bathroom. That should be pretty cheap. And then set money back to redo the flooring in the house. I want to get this carpet out! So, hopefully once we decide on what we want, we can save enough so in 6 months we can do it. That is exciting though.

Well, i guess i am off to finish watching Ladie and the Tramp with the kiddos. Tomorrow i need to get some pediasure (and i have coupons for it) for him to drink with his throat. That way he can stay healthy. And first thing in the morning, call the doc and get him in. This is when it sucks he is allergic to penicillan. Its time for that nice $50 antibiotic! Ick!

Hope everyone had a great weekend :)
