We are getting ready for vacation! Yay! We will be heading to Virginia beach to visit Karen, then New York for 4th of July and then a visit to Pennsylvania to see Alex's dad. So, it might be awhile before you hear from me on here. I can do mobile blogs but they are short. We will see ;o)

We are ready for sometime away and time off of normal day to day life. The kids are very excited about the trip. I am not sure about the long car rides but it'll be fun anyway!

Happy Fathers Day to my hubby, my daddy and father in law!

This morning the kids got up and made there daddy breakfast! I bought microwaveable bacon and sausage so they could do almost all of it but the eggs. i did that on the stove. Ethan really wanted daddy to stay in bed to eat but we don't have a bed tray. The kids have been wishing Alex a happy fathers day all day. They seem to be really excited about it. Alex's gift was Valerie the cat. We spent the day doing our usual window shopping and wishing we had a million dollars!

Tattle telling

Tattle telling is in full force in my house! I hear it even if someone gets more then one vanilla wafer out of the bag at a time. My kids insist on telling on every single little thing. By lunch time i want to plug my MP3 to my ears and ignore them. LOL. I didn't know there were so many things to tell about. Even if you ignore them when they are telling, they become little broken records who keep repeating it over and over and over! I have tried telling them things that are ok to tell about but it seems to make sense for maybe 15 minutes then they forget. AGH! This is defiently a stage that i wish i could see an end to soon, but i have a bad feeling this is an end that isn't going to come anytime soon.

Zoo and upcoming vacation

I have been meaning to post and put some pics up, but last week my laptop died! ugh. so i am on my old desktop with NO memory on it. so i cant upload pics until we do some major cleaning on the computer.

Summer has been going good. We have had a lot of playdates and have been staying really busy. Which is good. The days we stay home all day the kids normally fight like crazy.

Over the past week and a half we have turned Brooke's bedroom into a playroom. The kids are sleeping in Ethan's room. This is working out good. They have been sleeping together anyway since about march just b/c they want to. I like it b/c no toys come out of the playroom and is making keeping the house picked up a little easier for me.

Yesterday was took a trip to the Columbia zoo (RiverBank Zoo). We had a great time. We took pics the old fashioned way, a disposable camera so hopefully within the month i can get pictures up of it. The kids loved it though. The penguins were one of the kids favorites. We saw our first 3D show, including it was my first 3D show. It was really cool!

Now we are counting down days until we head to virginia beach. Have i mentioned Alex's sister bought a house by the beach? Yeah, we just might move in for the summer. LOL. After that we are heading to New York for the 4th of July. We are so excited and way overdue for a fun filled vacation!

Oh well, gonna go watch the simpsons with the kids. Its our sunday night ritual. Then bed time for us all! We are all pooped from our weekend at the zoo and Grammy's!
